HTML - the building blocks

HTML or HyperText Markup Language is what makes up every web page.  We will look over the required components and their correct usage in creating your website.

By using just a small number of tags, we can build a complete webpage.  Over the next several tutorials we will examine the correct way to use the most common tags that make up most web pages.  We will be using an example webpage as the basis for our learning and understanding of each part.

Take a look at the Example Webpage  The above "webpage" contains most of the common tags and we will examine them in detail and build upon this page as we progress.

Now we have an idea as to how a basic page looks, it is time to look into each part in detail.
